A Laptop Battery That Charges Itself

Amazon Patents ‘De-gifting’ Feature
Amazon.com has patented a feature that would let you block bad gifts before you receive them. The website’s expected to unveil a system that would let you set a list of rules for gifts, so if someone orders something for you and you don’t like it, it would automatically convert the item into a gift card.

Back to the Future Video Game
A video game based on the hit ‘Back of the Future’ films is out for PC and Apple computers. The game takes place six months after the end of the third film and includes your favorite characters. Some of the character’s voices are even played by the original actors. Of course, it also has the famous Delorean time machine. A PlayStation version will be available in early 2011. IBM Predicts Top Tech by 2015
Lastly, IBM has predicted what technological items will be available by the year 2015. It includes holographic cell phones that let you see the person you’re talking to in 3D and laptop batteries that you never have to plug into the wall (they re-charge using kinetic energy). For commuters, IBM says there will be computer programs that use algorithms and real-time traffic info to forecast traffic jams before they happen.
