MSI, one of the pioneer of computer and laptop maker has recently released a new laptop named as MSI X400-204US laptop. MSI X400-204US laptop is engraved with a lot of sizzling features including Intel Pentium ULV SU2700 1.3 GHz processor and Intel 4500MHD graphics media accelerator. Laptops have undergone an incredible amount of development over the past couple of years. A steep increase in performance was facilitated by chips that are ever more densely packed with transistors. With the CES right around the corner, it appears that more companies are revealing what they will be unveiling at the event which is scheduled for next week. This time it is Santech. The company is all set to unveil the first Sandy Bridge Laptop, the Santech N67, at CES.

Intel is readying its next-gen Sandy Brigde CPUs and among the first launch partners will be HP. The pics below were taken by a person in Singapore and they show a HP dv6 laptop which is powered by an Intel Core i7 2630QM quad-core processor clocked at 2GHz. We do know that this quad-core CPU can be overcloked up to 2.8GHz, but we’re not sure if it’s worth to kill a few cores and then burn the hell out of this baby.
After a recession-hit 2009, laptops and desktop PC sales went up this year -- as much as 31-percent compared to last year, according to IDC India's PC market review of 2010. And IDC India predicts a bright future for laptops and desktop PCs in the coming year, expects the Indian PC market to grow by 22-percent in 2011. According to an IDC analyst, tablets at their prevailing price points are unlikely to excite majority of consumers.
PC companies have a way of saying a computer has an “edge to edge” screen if there’s a single piece of glass running from one edge to the other — even if that glass covers not just an LCD display, but also a thick black bezel. But LG is getting one step closer to eliminating the bezel with its new Xnote P210 laptop which features one of the smaller bezels I’ve seen. It’s still there, but it doesn’t take up nearly as much space as bezels on most other laptops.
PC maker MSI helped to jump-start the netbook revolution in 2008 with some of the most exciting budget 10 inch notebooks available at the time. But the company has been pretty quiet for much of 2010, launching a few minor revisions of its netbook and laptop lineup. Things could get a bit more exciting again in 2011, now that MSI is preparing to launch an 11.6 inch laptop running AMD’s new Zacate chipset.
